great product as usual and as expected. Only wish is there were more clothing options in petite sizing. At 5', 104 pounds, it fit great, just long.

Comments about NRS Women's H2Core Lightweight Pants:

I'm 5'2" 130 lbs and got a size small. They are a tad tight but the cut is of a yoga pant and supposed to be against the skin. I love that I'm protected from the sun and they will be great for paddling down the river and the fabric will save my skin when I paddle while kneeling.

                Q:

I am considering buying these initially for sun protection (and from jelly fish) during a kayaking trip in Panama this Feb. I am concerned they may keep me too warm, since both air and water there are pretty hot.
PS: these would be cute in lime green!

The pants are a nice medium light weight to offer good sun protection. As
for warmth, I used them for snorkeling in the Melanesian Islands ie South
Pacific, where the water was probably somewhat cooler so they were perfect.

                  Hello,
These pants will likely be too warm for your Panama trip.   They are great for cooler temperatures.
                  Have a great trip.

I have not had a chance to wear these kayaking yet but I think they will be great. I have worn other swim leggings in the summer for sun protection and never felt too hot with them on.

I think they'd be pretty hot in Panama unless you're in the water most of the time.

I bought these for my wife. We use ours for kayaking and also running in
cold weather as a base layer Panama may be a bit warm for these. Look for
just a silk weight pant. ( just my suggestion)

They are pretty thick and the inside feels like a thin fleece. I've never really overheated in these during the Colorado summers but the water is always cool. I recommend these pants for slightly cool weather and maybe with hot Panama weather a thinner microfiber might be better. But generally I love these and am happy with them!

I wore these during rafting trip in North Alaska as a bottom layer. They worked well keeping me warm and were very light and comfortable. I do wear them now again as a bottom layer for skiing. I think they will be fine for your purposes as well.

These pants are breathable, so I don't think they would be too hot. I paddle in pants a lot for sun protection (I paddle ultra-marathon distance in an open surfski) and will be wearing these through the summer, I'm sure.
                  Happy paddling!

Everybody's heat tolerance is different. I've worn NRS tops with this weight fabric in July Grand Canyon temps with no discomfort. Wicks moisture well and gives excellent sun protection.
