I love the 0.5 mm thickness of the product and the quality of fabric and construction. It's just right for the warmth I need to get into a cold pool for lap swimming year round. However, I can only get it on dry. I cannot remove it wet. (Even with second person pulling it off it was difficult). I then exchanged it for a too large size thinking that would help but it did not. So I am now in the process of figuring out what type of separating zipper to buy to put in a front zipper ( fully opening) so I can get OUT of it when wet. I won't be able to use it until I get the zipper in. If you are young, agile, strong, and flexible then you may have no problem removing this shirt wet without a helper.

Loved the idea of this item, but the neck was very tight. I could tell it was not going to be comfortable kayaking out on the ocean. The neoprene was tight, but just as it should be for cold water protection. Great color, though if I were in the ocean I might not be seen from overhead.

This top was great except I had to really struggle to get it over my big head - to the degree that it gave me a headache just trying it on... I was so disappointed because everything else about it was great. If you don't have a ibig head I think it would be fine!

      Dear NRS Product Team,

I wanted to express my satisfaction with the HydroSkin 0.5 Short-Sleeve Shirt that I ordered a while back. After using it out SUPing on some windy and wavy lakes, I am so happy to have this as part of my clothing gear collection. it dried quickly while helping break wind and it also kept me warm AND cool, depending on the conditions. The service and delivery was also very positive and have found all of my purchasing through NRS to be painless and very satisfactory. I will recommend this skin and NRS to more friends and students. Thanks again!

The Ladies large I ordered measured only 32 inches around the chest, and the fabric is not stretchy. No way is that a ladies' large. I returned it. Sizing makes no sense. A ladies large should be at least 38 inches around the chest, preferably 40.

It is a bit difficult to put on. But with some practice it becomes easier. Taking it off, wet or dry, was easy. It tends to ride up a little in the water. It is perfect for surfing when the water is not too cold, but the wind is. It keeps the body warm when wet and out of the water.

                A:

Toni, we have adjusted the sizing on HydroSkin for 2015. HydroSkin pieces are wetsuit garments, meant to fit snugly, "skin" tight, to limit water entry. We believe the fit is better, while still giving good thermal performance. When you try it on, spend some time in it, replicating your paddling motions, while keeping in mind the need for that snug fit. And, as always, returns/exchanges are easy and free.
