  • C-Tug Boat Cart with Solid Kiwi Wheels

    Q:

What is the diameter of the wheels? Will this fit in the back of a whitewater kayak when broken down?

      A:

10" diameter, 3.5" wide. If you've got a way to tie it on, it should work.

      A:

I don't have it in front of me but wheels are pretty big, I have to say, maybe 8 inches in diameter, and they are wide, too. A white water boat? But whitewater boats are small, right? So, why would you need a cart? Anyway, the thing is pretty bulky, even when taken apart.

Do the wheels float? Do any of the parts float?

      A:

The wheels don't float. the C-Tug is made of dense, tough plastic, giving it that 300 pound weight capacity for something that only weighs eight pounds

C-tug: How do you put the straps on? The instructions are not clear to me.

      A:

It is very confusing. Look at 1 set of directions at a time. Start with step 1. You have  to lasso and install 1  buckle on each strap on  toggle area of  of each seat as shown. Than move on to strap 2 directions. As shown thru the buckle than loop the camlock buckle and back thru the back buckle.  You have to fish it under the original  looping on the back buckle. After this is done you'll have to mount your kayak (in my case) and readjust the straps to acc omme date  the shape of your boat

Comments about C-Tug Boat Cart with Solid Kiwi Wheels:

C-tug is well made. Used it under a SOAR 16. Had to add extension to strap. On pavement worked well. On loose sand the wheels sunk down and the C-tug turned over. Will get the wheel extenders from C-tug. Straps need to be extra tight on inflatables to prevent tipping. Overall satisfied. Just had to learn how to adapt to the boat and ground conditions.
