    Q:

Will the NRS Fin Replacement Plate and NRS board fins work with this Tomcat boat?

      A:

Both the plate and the boat fabric are PVC, so should be fine. We've been using Stabond Adhesive, Item # 38704.01, for the job.

  • Tributary Tomcat Tandem Inflatable Kayak

    Q:

Is it possible (or, how easy will it be) to mount a Wind Paddle (Cruiser) Sail to the Tomcat Tandem?
    Asked on 8/4/2013 by WindPaddler

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

There are no D-rings on the Tomcat. You can probably secure the sail through the drain holes, and you can add D-rings if needed.

  • Tributary Tomcat Tandem Inflatable Kayak

    Q:

Where is best place to locate single seat for solo use? Slightly forward-nose heavy seems to be what others do. Probably will have balanced weight of gear in front of and behind paddler.

      A:

It depends on how you're using the boat. When running rapids you want weight forward, so if you are light on gear you'll want your body up there. If you were doing overnight trips maybe you could put some gear up front for weight. On mellow water that weight distribution isn't as important.
