The upper limit is15 psi for this pump

      A:

I'm not sure about the psi but it inflates the floor for my outlaw kayaks which have a floor insert similar to an inflatable sup. it inflates the floor insert enough to easily stand up on. it is really the only pump I need for my kayak. I do have an electric for initial fill and a mini pump for float trips. I rarely use either. It is a fine top of pump in my opinion and for a sup probably all you need. it is certainly handy to have a built in gauge. I hope that helps.

Mark, it will; however the Super Pump, Item # 80016.01, will do a better job. It comes with a Leafield valve adapter, so if your board has a different valve you'll have to get a different adapter.

    Q:

I have a Innova Swing kayak. Would this be the preferred air pump when comparing it to the Wonder Pump 6?

      A:

Pat, from what I can determine from Innova's website, they're recommending 3 psi for the boats. The Super Pump is a high pressure pump that is needed for the high pressures you find in drop-stitch construction. The Wonder Pump 6 will pump up to that 3 psi and puts out about 3 times the volume per stroke than the Super.

Comments about NRS Wonder Pump HP:

I got tired of the head rush after blowing up my float bags then standing up. It has 5 different nozzle attachments so one is bound to fit whatever you're inflating. I've not used this on anything high pressure, just float bags.

Bought this for my SUP it is great from 0psi up to about 10psi wont work for higher pressures in SUP's
just doesn't have the back pressure. I had to make a inflator that works with a compressor, much better for my Badfish SUP.

Did not come with an adapter for the old long style halkey Roberts valves. But that is easy enough to deal with and understandable.
