Comments about NRS Women's Endurance Splash Pants:

I items that only serve multiple purposes or uses. These pants can be used spring/fall and winter with layering while I kayak. I find the fit nice and the sizing accurate. However, if you are a lil larger in the hips or buttocks you may wish to consider increasing the size. I feel these will be low maintenance and last a long time with respectful care. Very much recommend at this great price.

Comments about NRS Women's Endurance Splash Pants:

Using these for river Kayaking and rafting for a sit on top kayak and a one-person cat raft. Have used once and they worked great. They have room where you want it for good mobility. Ankle cuffs are plenty adequate for a tight seal, though I am not thinking they would keep water out if my legs were totally submerged (I don't think that is the design). The fit on these was large and even though the size-chart had me right at a medium, they were too big for me and a small fit great. My waist is 29 1/2 and my hips are 39; I'm 5'5" and 138 pounds. I expect to use these a lot and they look to be high quality ---- and will be up to the task

            Q:

What is the best way to wash, dry and store these pants? Can they be folded up and put in a plastic bin or do they need to be hung up?

I just spray them off with a hose and let them dry outside. I fold them on a shelf in my closet or hang them in my garage.

We hang ours. Rinse with warm water after use. Hand wash

I typically handwash in cold water with a tiny amount of very mild detergent. Sometimes I just rinse out even without soap.
Drying them is key. Let them hang dry a couple days if you can. You don't want any moisture in the creases or folds. I have found this leads to smelly river funk.
I store both hung and folded in a plastic tote. So either works. If it's a garage with mice potential definitely a sealed tote. Again, ensure they are DRY before putting them in.
I've had the same river gear for years and haven't had any issues if it's taken care of and stored well.

Unless they're really dirty all you need to do is rinse with fresh water and air dry before folding and storing. If dirty, use a good cleaner like Wetsuit & Drysiut Shampoo - http://www.nrs.com/product/2249/mcnett-wetsuit-drysuit-shampoo - or Nikwax Tech Wash - http://www.nrs.com/product/2373/nikwax-tech-wash - Follow the directions.

I rinse them by hand in fresh water and then hang them in shower to drip dry. Once dry I put them in plastic container with rest of paddling clothes.  Lu

            Q:

            Hello,
Would these pants fit over tall neoprene boots? we will be kayaking in cold seas in June and will be wearing boots as the bottom layer. Ideally these would have an inner cuff to inside the boot and the outside be large enough to fit over. (like the Edge model)
            Thanks.

I wear these on top of a thick neoprene sock with no problem. If you are
talking something like a wetsuit dive boot, I don¹t think there were be any
problem with the cuff fitting over the outside of the boot. If you are
talking about something more like a neoprene ³muck boot², then I am not sure
they would fit over these. Good luck.

I tried today with my tall slim NRS Titanium boots. The pants have a slim
ankle with a Velcro closure and did not fit over the boots. However, they
tucked inside the boots quite nicely and my feet were warmer and my bottom
driver than ever before. Happy NRS customer!

Zoe, the cuff on the pants is 14" in circumference. You can check that against the boots you are using.

Hello, I tried to fit my Endurance pants over tall rubber boots and they almost fit, I could have made it work. So I think they would fit over neoprene tall boots. The rubber boots were really wide in the calf area. I was whitewater rafting and ended up wearing neoprene socks with the NRS Swell ( a water/tennis shoe)..which worked well and the water was cold, 49 degrees F.
