I ordered this to avoid purchasing a dry suit. Glad I did. Easy to get on and off as opposed to a dry suit and I look really sexy in it.

Comments about NRS 2.0 Farmer Jane Wetsuit:

The size small fits on top, but way too much room in the butt and thigh area, leaving lots of empty space. Wearing a NRS 2mm paddling jacket as well. Hopefully I'll not test it in the water until next month when pool practice starts. Like the zippers at the bottom of each leg; allows me to extend the wetsuit over my neo boots.

This is vastly better than the available alternatives, but if you have a bra-size bigger than a 34D, you may need to go up in size to zip comfortably over your chest.

It hasn't been cold enough to actually try it yet, so not sure on drying, etc. Fit is amazing and feels super warm. Can't wait to get it on with the gloves and socks purchased here as well. Thanks for amazing products!

            Service and delivery comments:

Product arrived as advised. Was in perfect condition. Had to cancel a backordered wet suit and replaced it with this one. Customer service handled that issue immediately. Thanks!

              Q:

I am 5'8" 150 lbs. according to size chart could wear the medium or the large. I would wear this wetsuit while kayak fishing and paddling along florida/alabama gulf coast in winter/early spring. Am leaning toward the large for the length. Any opinion on which would better fit? Usually wear size 8 or 10 in women's pants/dresses.

I love my Farmer Jane wetsuit. I kayak in the Pacific ocean off the southern Calif coast and it keeps me warm while allowing for movement when I'm paddling. I would recommend getting the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

              Q:

I'm looking for a wetsuit to use while whitewater kayaking in the spring and the fall. I've been using a sit-on-top kayak, which pretty much guarantees that I get wet! I tried on the Ultra 3.0 in a store and it was comfortable, but I wonder if it is warmer and thicker than I need. What is the recommended usage of the 2.0 versus the 3.0? I am more interested in comfort than in price.

                A:

Kristin, how one dresses really depends on the water temperature, how long you'll be in the water if you do go in, your ability to self rescue, etc.The boater's mantra is "dress for the swim." The Ultra Jane obviously has a third more insulation value. Without knowing what conditions you'll be kayaking in it's impossible to advise you. Give us a call, 800.635.5202, or email us, service@nrsweb.com. Or, get local advice from the store you visited. We really encourage folks shopping at our dealers. Boat Safe!
