The NRS HydroSkin® Spring Suit provides the extra warmth you need to stay comfortable in the water without restricting your mobility. A back zipper and sun-shielding short sleeves make it great for SUP.
  • 0.5-mm Terraprene™ neoprene gives you just the right amount of core warmth without feeling bulky or constricting.
  • The back zipper won't scratch your SUP or surf board. Won't scratch your chest either.
  • Short sleeves shield your shoulders from the sun and provide extra warmth without restricting your range of motion.
  • 4-way stretch PowerSpan™ outer fabric allows unrestricted mobility.
  • ThermalPlush™ inner lining increases insulation, repels moisture, and dries quickly. It feels great against your skin too.
  • Titanium laminate adhesive reflects heat back to your body, adding warmth without adding unwanted bulk.
  • DWR coating forces water to "bead" and roll off the material, reducing evaporative cooling.

  • NRS Men's HydroSkin S/S Spring Suit Wetsuit

    Q:

What size do you recommend? I'm 5'10", 135 lbs, 30"waist. I'm thin so was leaning toward the Medium Spring Suit, but based on my height wondered if that would be uncomfortable. Still, guessing Medium.

I think you're on track about the Medium. You can also order both sizes and keep the one whose fit you like best. Returns are easy and free.

The sizing chart worked perfectly for me so I would recommend following the sizing chart guidelines.

I am 5-7" and 140lbs my waist is between 29 and 30. The small fits comfortably but a little snug around my shoulders. The medium sounds right.

Do you make this suit in a short sleeve long leg version

      A:

Sorry, no. The way to get that kind of protection is to pair the HydroSkin Farmer John with a HydroSkin Shortsleeve Shirt. Or, you can use the HydroSkin Jacket - longsleeve but zips for ventilation.

Cons

    Best Uses

    • River Sup

Comments about NRS Men's HydroSkin S/S Spring Suit Wetsuit - Closeout:

When surfing rivers on a SUP, you're swimming a lot. This is a great suit for those in between weather days where a full suit or a farmer would be too warm but you need a little something to keep the water from chilling you bones. The quality is great, stretches with your body and looks to be of great quality. Only used it a couple of times but if it holds up as well as my other Hydroskin items, this will be a great addition to the river wardrobe.

    Service and delivery comments:

unbeatable service and prompt delivery. other companies should take note and follow NRS's customer service lead.

    Cons

    Best Uses

    • Paddling in cool weather

Comments about NRS Men's HydroSkin S/S Spring Suit Wetsuit:

Seems to be of a good design and great quality. Great for cool weather paddling, but not cold weather paddling - get a full coverage suit for that. Very warm - in fact, if air temp is over 70 degrees, you may very well jump in the water just to cool off.
