The missing link in your cold-weather layering system! The NRS Pungo Shirt is loose enough to fit easily over base layers, and designed to fit comfortably under splash tops and dry tops. Or wear it as a lightweight jacket!
  • A half-zip collar makes putting on and taking off the Pungo a snap and lets you ventilate easily for changes in temperature.
  • The amazing Polartec® Power Stretch® fleece provides warmth without bulk and quick-drying comfort.
  • The collar is also low-cut so it won't interfere with the neck gasket on your dry top or drysuit.
  • Polartec is the industry leader in performance layering fabrics. "Touch points" on the inner surface wick moisture quickly and pass it out to evaporate rapidly, keeping you dry when you play hard.
  • Quick-drying Polartec Power Stretch fleece is wind and abrasion resistant and the anti-pill outer surface keeps the shirt looking like new.

    Q:

I'm very interested in purchasing this top but I'd like your opinion about the size. I'm 6' 4" tall which is the only thing that doesn't fit with the L sizing - otherwise all of my measurements fall within the recommended ranges for L.

I'm wondering if you think the sleeves would be too small (I'm a 36 sleeve) in the L. That's one of my concerns. The other concern would be having the XXL be otherwise too big (I'm 190lbs, 34 waist, 42 chest).

I know this is on closeout and the XL is not available; that would likely be my best fit. Any chance one is still available?

      Hello:
I recently purchased this and I am 5’ 10” tall and the sleeve length fits me perfectly. It would probably be short for anyone taller.

The NRS polar tech gear fits me great. I am 6"2 and the sleeves have extra
room. I think you'll be fine. I use this gear fishing on the coast of
California and it works almost to good sometimes. It will keep you warm
      and protected.

I would go with the larger size because the Wavelite has a tendency to shrink a little over time. The Wavelite is one of my best pieces of river gear. Even if you have more fabric in the chest area it will still keep you warm.

You'll be fine with a large. My L fits me fine and the sleeves are just a bit long on me. I'm exactly your measurements, except I'm only 6' 1". The XL and XXL would be too baggy.

I think it would be short in the sleeves, I'm 5'10" 150 and the large fits nicely.

I think that the large will just be too small. The top fits snugly and you will be uncomfortabe in a large. ..Eric

Randy, the XLs are all gone. I think the Large will be fine for you. I have a 44" chest and 34" waist and wear the Large. The sleeve length is 33", cuff to center of back, so you'll be a bit "high-water." Great shirt.

I tried it on. It fit fine. I then pulled it off over my head and I heard a rip. There is a horizontal seem across the shoulder blades and the thread broke. I returned it.
