yes, it can be adjusted but you need the female end as well, which is
      short and does not adjust

The strap on this patch is fully adjustable over its entire length. I
put the male/female ends about 8" apart slightly off-center towards the
open end. By adjusting the strap I could either have a short handle to
pick up the bag or a long shoulder strap to carry it.
They are pretty tough. I just got back from a 4 week motorcycle trip
where the bags were loaded, unloaded, and banged about with no problems
at all. By passing my tie down straps through them I was able to tether
the bags to prevent them from falling off as happened on a previous trip.
I used the Vynabond glue to attach the patches and there was no
loosening or peeling. The small 1oz tube was more than enough for four
patches. It would probably be enough for 20-25 patches.
      Hope this helps. J.

The male end of the plastic buckle is adjustable along the length of the webbing. The webbing is threaded through a ladder-lock feature on the buckle half for tensioning the completed buckle closure.

Comments about NRS Dry Bag Patch / Male End - PVC:

I used it, along with the female end, to add a tie down strap to a waterproof backpack after searching fruitlessly for a lashing patch for webbing. I found this at NRS and it combined the patch and the webbing and a quick connect buckle!
