You asked for it, we built it. Use the NRS Mesh Drag Bag to cool your beverages, lug loose items up to camp, hang food up above the critters - it's a truly multi purpose tool!
  • We've reinforced the seams in the rugged heavy-duty mesh for maximum durability.
  • Its generous size, 12" Dia x 22" H, will pack a big load.
  • The large foam floats keep the top of the bag at the water surface.
  • Snap a carabiner or HD Strap to the 1" D-ring to attach it to your boat. Then use the strap or 'biner to carry or hang the bag.
  • The opening is secured with a barrel-lock closure to prevent loss of your precious cargo.

I just returned from a 20 day Grand trip and brought along this new bag. Within 20 min. we had drinks floating out of the bag. The closure lock did not hold tight enough and the floats added to the problem (not allowing the bag to close small enough). I wound up taking off the floats and adding an additional lock. Even after the mods, the bag still didn't close great, but I never lost any more drinks. The bag it self seems durable enough.

Comments about NRS Mesh Drag Bag:

I haven't had the chance to put this into service as yet. From examining the bag I am not sold on the necessity of the small floats. To me they only seem to make it more difficult to secure items in the bag from escaping.

Comments about NRS Mesh Drag Bag:

The bag worked well for putting about 6 to 8 drinks in, but if the two orange floats on the top are to help it float not so good. however, if they are there to just keep the drinks in they work fine. It would be nice if the orange floats helped float the top of the bag.

Using the carabiner attached it to the back of the kayak and let Lake Tahoe handle the refrigeration while we paddle.
