      A:

different recipes tell you what size oven to use, you can check recipes online and you will see what i mean, i think the 12" is the best size to start with, that is the most common size in most recipes…

      A:

On page 3, Sheila says the recipes are made for the 10" and 12" Dutch ovens. I've got both sizes but I've mostly used the 12" for her recipes.

Comments about The Outdoor Dutch Oven Cookbook:

While I had a fishing/floating business, I used a lot of Sheila's recipes from her first Dutch oven cookbook. My philosophy was that if I couldn't guaranty the fishing, the food would always be top notch. That cookbook helped me accomplish that goal. This newer book will add a great deal to my private trips, be they river or car, and bye the way, home meals, too. I've already done a few things from the book that turned out very tasty. I'm looking forward to trying more of these dishes. I'll probably end up giving her book as gifts.

I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine to help him break in his new Dutch Oven and he loves it. I can't wait to sample some of the dishes he prepares from this book.
