    Q:

Will this pump work with the valves from your NRS Wonder Pump HP? "The NRS Wonder Pump comes with a twist-fit C7 Leafield Valve adapter and a full set of adapters for other types of valves."

      A:

The Super Pump was designed as a high-pressure pump for our SUP boards. It comes with the twist-fit Leafield C7 valve adapter, Item # 38523.01, mounted in the end of the hose. You would have to remove that to use with other adapters.

    Q:

Will this pump work with the Leafield B7 valve without an adapter?

      A:

KS, the Super Pump comes with the screw-on C7 Leafield adapter, Item # 38523.01, attached to the end of the hose. The C7 valve has threads inside the opening to accept the adapter; the B7 valve does not. You would have to replace the adapter with the Leafield/Military adapter, # 38524.01.

      A:

The stock adapter with this pump is the threaded style for the C7 valves,
it may work in a pinch but not provide a proper seal with the B7 valves
hence air leaks. Get the B7 adapter and you'll be set.

  • NRS Super Pump

    Q:

One reviewer notes that the pressure gauge is used separately from the pump. Is this true? Does it read directly from the boat's valves? If so, will the gauge work with both a Boston valve and a Halkey Roberts valve? If not, how could it be adapted?
Asked on 7/6/2014 by Eliott from Portland, OR

      A:

Eliott, the gauge will work as long as you depress the spring mechanism in the valve using the gauge to get a reading.

Pao, the pump comes with a Leafield C7 valve adapter attached to the end of the hose. You would have to remove that one and attach a Boston valve adapter.

    Comments about NRS Super Pump:

I was excited about this pump as it was economical and proves to be much easier to inflate my Big Earl which came with a K-pump. It's smooth, easy to pump, attaches easily to any Leafield valve. But the pressure gauge comes separate...unlike the Wonder Pump that's built into the pump itself and doesn't require unscrewing the valve and hose to check your pressure. Seems like a no-brainer design addition to me??
