Protect the finish on your car, kayak, canoe, refrigerator or other precious cargo with NRS 1.5" Padded Straps. The pad is sewn onto the strap so it is always right where you need it.
  • The 2" x 5" vinyl pad protects your valuable gear from scrapes and dings.
  • The 1.5" wide polypropylene webbing has a tensile strength of 2,000 pounds, so you can lash in your gear with confidence.
  • We also soak the webbing in our proprietary UV protectant for long life in the sunny outdoors.
  • Two center-mounted stainless-steel springs give our heavy-duty buckle a stronger, more secure grip on the webbing.
  • The length of each NRS tie-down strap is woven right into the webbing, so there's never any guesswork when choosing the right size for the job.
  • A waterproof 1" x 3" tag near the buckle gives you a place to write your name and contact info to prove to your buddy that it's your strap, NOT his.
  • Rafters, kayakers, canoeists and other water folks love these burly cargo straps.
  • Yes, they're the gold standard for boaters, but savvy people have found literally hundreds of other uses for them.
  • You'll want these straps for your boating gear bag, car trunk, truck bed, ATV, camper... everywhere.
  • Ask any boater and they'll tell you, "You can never have too many."

Comments about NRS 1.5" Padded Straps:

These straps fit the slots on the Malone Sea Wing saddles just perfectly and the length is just right to go around an Eddyline Samba or similar-width kayak; has about 24 inches to spare, use the extra to secured to transport crossbars.

        • Super Fast On And Off

        Cons

        Best Uses

        • Day Trips
        • Truck-top Canoe

Comments about NRS 1.5" Padded Straps:

Ordered this strap to secure my 18' and 15' canoes to my truck's rack. Put a few hundred miles on so far at Interstate Highway speeds with up to 30 mph crosswinds. No movement, and no scuffs on the boats. These straps are great! The only (minor) concern is that the buckle pad is just barely larger than the buckle, making rigging it up take a few extra seconds.

        Service and delivery comments:

        - Shipped next day
        - Order arrived in great condition

Comments about NRS 1.5" Padded Straps:

Best boat straps for a Rowing boat out there - when you strap 10 62 ft - $40K boats to a trailer - you really need to make sure they don't slip. These straps do the job better then the ones made by the boat makers.

Buy allot - they have a tendency to disappear....

The widest straps I have seen. The buckle is awesome. It should last for many years if kept out of the sun as much as possible, as should be done with any type of strap.

Hope this isn't a trick question. I have 9 ' straps they work great for tying on a single kayak. Actual length is 8' 10". Inch and one half with gives a more secure hold. Hope this is helpful.
