Paddle comfortably in cold conditions with NRS Maverick Gloves. Waterproof seams, a water-shedding exterior and our innovative HydroCuff™ wrist make this one of our most popular cold-weather gloves.
  • 2 mm raw neoprene with titanium laminate adhesive provides plenty of warmth.
  • Liquid-sealed seams make them waterproof up to the cuff, vastly increasing the warmth of this glove.
  • The neoprene HydroCuff seals around your wrist, helping keep water out and warmth in.
  • The raw neoprene exterior ensures awesome grip while shedding water to reduce evaporative cooling.
  • Pairing snaps on the wrists help keep the gloves together.
  • Important tip: To put the glove on, first roll the cuff up. Then slide your hand in with a twisting motion and roll the cuff back over your forearm. To take the glove off, slide the thumb of the opposite hand inside the cuff, along the palm of the hand and push the glove off.

Imported.

Comments about NRS Maverick Gloves - Closeout:

Needed something to keep the hands warm on the 38° mornings. These work and the grip on the paddle is good.

Comments about NRS Maverick Gloves - Closeout:

Very comfortable with good dexterity. Unfortunately I would not recommend these gloves for any type of kayaking. They are made from a very soft material that tears easily. I have used these in flat water only and while practicing strokes on their 4th outing (of 25mins each use) a patche has torn in the thumb from gripping the paddle. The material may be too grippy for its own good as the glove is damaged where the paddle rotates in the hand. For the price I would expect them to last much longer.

        Q:

How do you reccomend drying and storing these gloves? Are they ok to store inside out? They seem to remain wet on the inside of the fingertips for awhile.

          A:

You can turn them inside out to quicken drying. You can also use a glove/boot dryer, or press tissues/rags up inside to soak up any excess moisture.

        Q:

I have used the older style maverick glove for a couple years and need to replace them. What is the difference between this new maverick glove and the one on close-out? It looks like the cuff is slightly different. Does it seal better?

          A:

The new model of the Maverick has a slightly different pattern to the seams in the cuff that make the gloves easier to get on. We've also added pairing snaps that help you keep the gloves together between uses.

          A:

When I tucked my dry suit into the gloves, I did not receive any water within them. Over time ( a few hours) of extensive swimming and rope handling the dry suit eventually worked its way out from underneath and that was the only time my hands got wet. Hope this helps.
