  • NRS Frame Angler Seat Bar with LoPro's

    Q:

Is there any difference between this bar and the foot bar? (I.e., could I buy just the seat mount and flip my foot bar over when going w the fishing set up? )

Jesse, the bends are the same as the Foot Bar on the 48", 54" and 60" Angler Seat Bars. On the wider ones the bends are moved in to accommodate a U-shaped Thigh Bar. Before you give this a go, reverse the LoPros to see if they still fit flat on the side rails. Because of variations in the drilling process they don't always work that way.

Hi, I just recently purchased a angler's seat bar with lowpro for the front
for fishing and thought of the same thing you are debating. I do think it
will work, but I was not willing to give up my foot rest.I also bought the
seat and bracket for my frame for the back and really like my set up. You
may want to try it, but I think giving up the rower's foot rest is a pretty
big issue. Probably depends on the water you are paddling.
      Good luck and enjoy,

How many inches vertically does this bar raise the seat off of the frame?

Josh, look in the Frame Part Specs for those dimensions - http://www.nrs.com/frames/Specs.asp#ActionSeatBar

I don't know exactly but I would guess 16 inches. The bar is around 8 or
ten up but when you install the seat it adds about 6 more. I love this set
up but I have to take the whole bar and seat off the frame to safely
transport it in my pickup. Your feet just hang in mid air when you are
sitting unless you installed another bar or floor specifically for it on
      your frame. Hope this helps.

    Q:

What do I measure I have 63 outside to out side would that be considered as 65?

      A:

Mark, our frame cross member (seat bars, cross bars, etc) widths are measured from center-to-center of the bars they connect to. If you're measuring from the outside of LoPro to outside of LoPro, you've got a 60" Seat Bar.
