Outdoor Brand Employee

Eligibility

• Full-time employee of an outdoor industry brand.

NRS Dealer Employee

Eligibility

• Full-time employment with an NRS Dealer or Vendor.

Paddling / Outdoor Guide

Eligibility

• Paddlesports or Outdoor guide working full time during the operational season. (Rafting, Kayak, SUP, Adventure travel, Biking, Camping, Climbing, Hiking, Hunting, Mountain, Sailing, Snow Sports.)

Or

• If applying outside of the operational season, a letter of endorsement from your company or organization stating your full-time employment during the operational season.

Fishing Guide

Eligibility

• Fishing guide working full time during the operational season.

Supporting Documents

• For independent contractors: Copy of Pro license and liability insurance for your guide operation.
• For employees of outfitters: Copy of Pro license and paystub from the last month indicating full-time (30+ hours a week) employment. Please black out any personal information such as SSN, DOB, salary, etc. but leave hours and dates visible.

Outdoor Media / Athlete

Eligibility

• Year-round, full-time professional photographer, videographer, or writer. The majority of your content must be related to outdoor adventure sports, outdoor sporting goods testing and reviews, or coverage of the outdoor sporting goods industry. Or full-time professional outdoor athlete.

Supporting Documents

• Current documentation of employment (recent pay-stub or business certification).

• Link to recent publication of work or website/portfolio.

Outdoor Educator

Eligibility

• Full-time employment with a Univesity Outdoor program, Outdoor Adventure programs, Camp Employees, Wilderness Therapy.

Rescue / Government Professionals

Please note, NRS Pro is for individual purchasing only. NRS Pro orders are subject to sales tax. NRS Pro Rescue / Government Eligibility

• Full-time government agency employees: includes Firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, search & rescue, law enforcement, forest service, park service, fish & wildlife, parks & rec., Military.

Active search and rescue volunteers may apply with the following:

Eligibility

• Full-time employment as Ski Patrol, Ski/Snowboard instructor, or Ski Resort employee.

• Full-time employment by an Outdoor or Environmental Non-profit organizaton.

Eligibility
