The Sawyer Standard Utility Oar is an excellent choice for fishing pontoon boats and other small craft. There's just nothing like a wooden oar!

Product Details

  • Laminated from specially selected straight grain Douglas Fir for a light, stiff and stable oar.
  • Blades have a slight crown for a smooth, controlled stroke.
  • Comes with rubber oar sleeve/stopper to protect the shaft from wear.
  • To reposition the oar sleeve/stopper, apply heat to it with a hot hair dryer. This makes it easier to slide it along the shaft.
  • Finished with a sealer soak, plus two thick coats of the finest marine grade spar varnish.
