You've finished lunch and rigged your boat, and then realize that your raft is soggier than a wet sandwich. Use this pump to top off and be on your way.
  • The NRS Wonder Pump 6 is a great top off pump that can easily solo for IK's or smaller inflatable's.
  • Compact pump allows you to connect to even the hard-to-reach valves on any raft or IK.
  • 5' non-kink hose and 7 adapters are included with the pump.
  • The NRS Wonder Pump 6 is a double action pump; working to inflate on both the upward and downward motions of the handle.

    Q:

Will this pump work on my Big Earl Sup? My K-pump has a crack and I can't get the psi over 8. The K-pump never worked well. You could only inflate to 12 psi on a good day.

This pump works on my three canoe float bags.
If you are looking to blow up a SUP, this pump may work, but you may want a larger size.
      Hope this helps. - Andy

This pump won't give you the pressure you're looking for. The best hand pump for an inflatable SUP is the K-Pump 220, Item # 80068.01. On your current K-Pump, they have an unlimited 2-year warranty. Give us a call, 800.635.5202.

    Q:

Will any of the adapters it comes with be compatible with the Leafield C7 valves on my NRS Pike IK?

      A:

The adapters that come with the pump will connect to the C7, but you'll have a much better experience if you also purchase the C7 Valve Adapter, Item # 14821. It screws onto the valve and really makes the pump connection solid.

      A:

There are several different fittings that come with the pump. So if you push a fitting into the opening on your valve it should work.
I use mine on an NRS Cataraft. I have also used the fitting to fill several other inflatables with different valves.

Clean off the piston end and pump inner walls. Then apply a light coat of lithium grease. The blue marine type is best, but the white variety will work fine.

Sheesh, great question. I'm a hard shell boater who likes having an a tandem IK to teach, take friends and family out and hopes to use it for self-support runs. Sounds like I should be learning from you. I've used lithium grease because it feels less messy. So far the pump has done great. Let me know if you come up with something better.

What types of valve adapters does this come with, and specifically, does it have the Summit II for my Tomcat? If not, how badly would I wish I had that adapter?

The Wonder Pump has several adapters one of which will work with the valve you have. It is a great inexpensive pump that can get lots of pressure into your raft, and it is fast. Should you get sand in it field cleaning is easy.

The pump comes with a number of adapters of various diameters as shown in the photo. It does not come with any specific valve adapters but the generic adapters can be used with tubing to connect specific adapters.good pump for the money.

The Bravo has a couple of adapter that fit in the Summit II valve opening. However, I strongly recommend getting the valve adapter, # 1493.1. It locks into the valve and gives a much better seal.

I have only use that pump for the bandit two. It comes with many adapters; I would check with NRS.

I had owned a BRAVO BST Electric Kite Pump for 2 years. After replacing the battery the main drive gears stripped out at the attachment pins.*(NOTE TO MANUFACTURER MAY WANT TO REPLACE DRIVE GEARS WITH STAINLESS GEARS INSTEAD OF CHEAP PLASTIC!)* The BRAVO Wonder pump 6 was purchased as a replacement/back up pump for inflating my Kiteboarding kites.

For this purpose all I can say is BRAVO!
My Only reason for not giving a 5 star review is that the pump does NOT come with a top mount Air Pressure Dial Gauge. For the price - it should☺

I will have to keep my eye on this pump. So it does not wander off☺! For a Manual Kite Pump it just dose not get any better, unless you can find someone to pump up your kites for you☺!

It takes a minute or so before the "double action" of this pump starts working efficiently. Not sure why, but maybe the interior seal has to heat up. Also, the pressure relief plug pops loose several times while getting tubes topped off.

Lost one on a flip on SF Boise river, liked it so much, didn't considee anything else to replace it. Threw away the cheap hose and got a length of 5/8 vinyl hose from Home Depot. Fits snug on the pump and into the leafield valves, no need for those cheap little adapters that get lost. We have. Pumped up several 14 ft rafts on the Middle Fork with this pump. Takes a little time, but the double action makes it nearly as fast as the big Carlisle pumps.

Comments about Bravo Wonder Pump 6:

This is a fast air pump (for a non-electric). My Bravo 10 takes :35 minutes to inflate my 12' 6" Canyon raft, the Wonder Pump 6 is done in under :15 minutes. That is very efficient.
My only minor complaint is that the removable plug that converts the pump from double-action mode to single-action mode occasionally pops off during enthusiastic pumping. If it were threaded this would not happen.
