Power your way to new levels of water-filled fun with the NRS Swim Fins. Wear them over wetshoes, wetsocks or your bare feet when you're river boarding, snorkeling or swimming for exercise.
  • The soft toe cup is comfortable on a bare or wetsock clad foot.
  • The web is stiff enough to transmit the full power of your kick to the water, while still having some flex for walking comfort.
  • The comfortable heel strap is dual side adjustable for a secure fit.
  • Once you have the heel strap adjusted, you can just unclick one side of the strap and keep the same adjustment when you put the fin back on.
  • The grippy tread pattern on the bottom of the foot cup gives good traction when walking.
  • Size S/M fits men's shoe size 4.5 - 8.5, L/XL fits men's shoe size 9-13. Subtract one full for women's sizes i.e. a women's 7 would be a men's 6. Please add one size if you plan on wearing a neoprene sock or shoe.

      Comments about NRS Swim Fins:

I just expected more. They are short fins so I wasn't expecting any real power (and I got none), but I did expect the strap clasp to last more than 10 minutes before snapping, rendering the fin unusable.

These are probably fine for a pool, or flat water, but I would not recommend them for riverboarding.

      Service and delivery comments:

NRS Service and Delivery were, as they always are, extremely helpful and timely. These people genuinely care about your experience and it shows.

Perfect size, as related to storage ease and propulsion. Not huge like scuba fins, but easily stowed. Seem like a great design, all around.

                        Q:

Can these be used for riverboarding? I use Teva size 11 boots, and would need something that they can fit in. Curious if they give you a lot of power and control as well

yep they can be used for river boarding,
they're adjustable - they should fit,
they will give you more power than without,
with that said, it's all about technique & practice

Actually --- I bought these just for that reason.
I would recommend getting some that have a closed back -- not the clip. I
have had issues with them falling off because you are trying to generate a
lot of power swimming against the current.
                          Hope that helps.

Hi.. I only used them for river boarding but only put a thin scuba bootie underneath. I have a women size 9 shoe size. I am not familiar with the river shoes you have but I know men's size 11 feet. I am sure they would fit you barefoot but have my doubts with river shoes.
As far as power and control, they did the job! I didn't try any other brands so I really do not have a comparison to other brands. Hope this helped!

no they can not be used for river boarding especially if you are going
to wear a teva sandal. i bought these fins for river boarding.
however, i suggest a different pair. these would not hold up to much
abuse. the plastic buckle is not ideal, lucky to fit a pair of wet
socks inside them. not much power is provided in the fin. they are
however light and short but still difficult to walk in.

I am a member of a water rescue team where we utilize a jet ski and work in
surf conditions. They work great for some added power when swimming without
being a large dive fin. I believe they would work well for river boarding.
The added bonus is that you can actually walk in them. Maybe not down a
long trail but you can walk in them for short distances. Hope this helps.
