I generally wear a "medium." This item fits well except the bottoms which end up being rather "baggy." I'll keep them, they're fine, but if I ordered them again I'd get a "small."

We paddle outrigger canoes for fun and competition, 1,2 & 6 person. This is great for this since the chest can be opened for cooling and does not impede your arms while stroking.

I believe you can wear in a pool.  Be sure to give it a good rinse in fresh water.  The NRS website has cleaning & deodorizing products that would be good to use also.

Yes, you can wear it for pool swimming. Be aware that chlorine damages the neoprene insulating foam. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after each session and air dry to protect the suit.

I Don't see why not....  Chlorine exposure in the long run is detrimental though.  Love the suit!

Absolutely - it's a wetsuit; it'll provide a layer of insulation in any situation, and as 'closeout', it's a great cut/fit/price/value, etc.!

There is no reason it shouldn't. I would rinse chlorinated water thoroughly
                from anything including your skin.

I don't see why not. Perhaps chlorine has an effect on neoprene but I'd just rinse it thoroughly afterwards. I found this item a bit baggy in the bottoms/shorts. I'd purchase a small rather than a medium next time.Michael

Yes, it can, I am a scuba instructor and often use it when teaching in pools. I am between sizes on their size chart, I go to the smaller size for a tighter, warmer fit.

Of course,  though I'd be sure to wash it in cold water and preferably with a neoprene specific for wetsuits after pool use.

The suit is neoprene and many chemicals adversely affect the substance, salt (NaCl) and chlorine (Cl) amoung them.   Pool water generally has chlorine as a disinfectant and can ruin the suit if not properly rinsed and dried after use and then stored out of sunlight.  Properly cared for it should last a long time, abused it will have a limited service life.  It is your suit and your choice.

Dave, I urge you to thoroughly read through this website - http://www.coldwatersafety.org/nccwsRules3.html - The temperatures you mention, especially combined with offshore ocean boating, can be deadly for the unprepared. You will need more insulation than this wetsuit can provide. Please give us a call to better discuss options, 800.635.5202. Our utmost concern is for your safety.l

I use a NRS Little John wetsuit for kayaking in the Puget Sound. Although I'm rarely in the water out of the kayak, I can say that the wet suit is of high quality and comfortable. I'm 6 ft 215 lb and XL fits well.

Little John. It allows arm movement, you can layer up or down, splash
jacket over, gloves and head gear, booties would be good, not necessary for
long leg wet suit, I use wool knee length dress socks for warmth.
