Comments about NRS Farmer Bill Wetsuit:

Be aware that the color for the top varies with the size, if you are XXL then it is all black. Also be aware this is a Bibb style wetsuit with two tabs with Velcro to hold the bibb up. I had just assumed it would be a zipper but there are no zippers with this. That being said, I found that you could pull it up and not do the two velcro over the should tabs and stay cool until you pull the tabs over and pull it up over your chest. It was plenty warm in 70 degree weather up at Isle Royale (water was in 50s).

Use for waterskiing (slalom and trick skiing). I have worn Men's Medium and women's large all my sports clothing. This is the first time the men's did not fit. I also bought a women's large apparel and it fit perfectly. I had to ship back and get a larger size.

Comments about NRS Farmer Bill Wetsuit:

Perfect for diving in the Caribbean. Just enough warmth and protection. When you're a 260 pound six footer it ain't easy to find a comfortable, well fitting suit. This was perfect.

        Service and delivery comments:

I needed this shipped to the east coast on short notice because my old wetsuit must have shrunk since I last used it ;-) It arrived in plenty of time. VERY pleased.

          Q:

          Hi,
I'm 6' 220lb 42.5" chest and waist, unsure if I should go with the XL wetsuit or the XXL, seems like the XXL would be to big in the chest, while the XL would be snug in the waist?

          Thanx

I don't know; I wear a medium. My experience with this wetsuit is to err on the large side; mine was pretty tight.

I'm 5'10, 190, 42" chest, 36" waist. The L wetsuit fits me as it should, snugly but not too much. The XL sounds like the one for you.

Paul, you fall in the XL, except for the waist measurement. You can give that a try, but you may need the Grizzly suit, Item # 2219 G.

Get with the XL. The double-XL would be way too loose.

Does this wetsuit have a relief zipper? Does the suit zip in the front or back? It really does not show in the photo. Thanks!

It does not have a zipper at all. The shoulder straps flip over from the back and Velcro onto the chest panel. I was a little dubious that the Velcro would hold on, but it works just fine and it does not come loose. The Velcro also lets you attach the shoulder straps at various levels of tightness, which is nice if you decide to add a top layer under the wetsuit. It's pretty comfy, and I am very pleased with mine.

It does not zip at all. It has snaps on the shoulder straps and you have
to pull it on. The only zippers are at the ankles to make it easier to get
            on over your feet.

            Hi:
This farmer john suit does not have a zipper (except at the ankles). You get in
and out of the suit by unsnapping the shoulders and then pealing it down (the
shoulder straps have both Velcro and snaps). I got this suit for canyoneering
(lots of wet rappelling). I need to add and remove layers frequently in canyons
as temperatures and physical activity levels change throughout the trip. I
prefer the farmer john with shoulder snaps (instead of fixed shoulders and a
front zipper) because it is not bulky when I peal it down to my waist. I often
need the cold protection for my lower body while I remove upper body layers to
            prevent overheating.
            Hope this helps,
            JM
