Great fit good paddle grip. Glove atop my wrist gaskets, neoprene of dry suit atop glove. Didn't get a drop of water on my hands. First time wearing them was 39 degrees out. Hands stayed warm the whole run. May buy a second pair as a spare.

            Comments about NRS Maxim Gloves:

The gloves are great. I have three sets of hand gear from NRS now (toaster mitts and some very lightweight gloves with retractable finger tips). These are great. They're snug in the hand (not in the wrist) and feel very sturdy.
I'm not sure why NRS gloves don't seem to have consistent sizing from model to model, but I have found three different purposed-gear that are good for me.
On my left hand, the palm pad is a tiny fraction too small and the ring finger rubs on the seam a little bit but I've gotten used to those. Overall I love the gloves, and am an NRS fan. Thanks!

                Comments about NRS Maxim Gloves:

I bought these to replace my NRS Titanium gloves that developed a tear in the grip area on one of the fingers. The Titanium gloves were straight neoprene and could be difficult to get on & off. The fleece lining inside the Maxim gloves is great though, and it makes them easy to get on & off. They seem warmer than the Titanium gloves were too, probably because of the lining. Unfortunately, low river levels in my area have precluded being able to test them out on the water (I did wear them on my morning walk once in the rain though). My only concern is that the Maxim gloves have a similar grip material to what was on the Titanium gloves (and ultimately tore). Time will tell if they hold up, but to be fair I had the Titanium gloves for several years and they served me well up to the end. So far, the Maxims seem to be the warmest cold weather paddling gloves I've found.

                  Comments about NRS Maxim Gloves:

Bought to use in dry suit conditions. Hands sweat a little when no immersion, paddling strong, warm day (60+), but not enough to cause "prune fingers". Go on and off pretty easily, even after sweating. Slight manufactured curve makes closing hand over shaft easy. Nice seam stitching. Again, to keep hands truly dry would require a more elaborate gasket or constricting wrist straps, but haven't been too troubled by the moist hands. Recommended.

                  Service and delivery comments:

Delivered in good condition in the expected time frame. It's NRS.

                    Q:

Is the fleece lining on this glove the same lining that is on the Toaster Mitts?

                      A:

It's the same non-absorbent material as the lining on the Toasters, just with a red-check pattern. Bit of class!
