A little taller, but collapses nicely and fit into our kayak hatch for a weekend kayak/camping trip. It was money well spent.

        Comments about Roll-A-Stool:

At first it seems pricey for its size then it is clear that it is really well-made and sturdy. It is very comfortable and convenient so folks will plop down on it, stay a while, then get up to do something else, because it is much easier to get up from than some of the lounge chairs. Very easy to stow on your raft.

We carry these stolls on our ATVs. Any time we stop we have a stool to sit on, they go great with our ultra-lite ATV camping. Ever pick huckleberries? Set this stool in the middle of the patch and pick your heart out! Get a few, they're great!

            Comments about Roll-A-Stool:

I have had this stool for 5 years and have taken it on dozens of backpacking trips. Most backpacking stools are not strong enough (too much aluminum) to hold me at 230 pounds, but more importantly, they sit TOO LOW to get up from comfortably. This stool has a great sitting height for adults without having to worry about bending the legs on the stool. It has a large fabric sitting area without feeling the legs poking through to your thighs. I higly recommend this stool. It may not be the absoluley lightest weight stool on the market, butmost are too small, too low, and too week to be worth carrying, so buy this stool, carry the extra pound, and it will be worth it.

I use the roll a stool to play my melodic percussion instrument, the Hang. I strap it outside the hang bag and it is an easy setup to play anywhere now. Great stool.
