The Cleanwaste Dry Toilet is a truly unique portable waste collection and disposable system. The compact, lightweight unit uses a patented biodegradable bag that can be dropped in any garbage can.
  • It's so easy to use! No assembly is required, it sets up in seconds.
  • When set up it's the same height and bowl size as your household toilet, then folds up to briefcase size, 19" x 14" x 5".
  • Ultra-sanitary, it uses WAG BAG® Toilet in a Bag™ waste kits that gel waste, neutralize odors (no perfumes) and start the decay process.
  • These bags comply with federal standards for disposal in landfills and will degrade along with gel and waste in six to eight months.
  • The biodegradable WAG BAG is approved for disposal in any receptacle that is going to a sanitary landfill.
  • Great for boating, camping and as part of a home emergency kit.
Many boating areas now require you to carry out human waste. Even for those that don't, the removal of waste products protects the environment. Always check ahead with the area management agency to find out what they require for carry out systems.

Always pack out used bags in a rigid, waterproof container.

Pam, Cleanwaste says up to 500 pounds, and the seat is 14" above the ground, about the same as a home toilet.

    Q:

Want to use on multi-day river trips, space is critical. Have been using a porta potti, last thing to go in the drift boat in the morning after 3 guys do their business, then close it up and it contains the waste. With the bag system do you have to remove and store bags before packing and leaving?

      A:

we have a groover which is required for some rivers, but we prefer this
system as it is easier to clean. I'd say each bag is good for 4-6 morning
"movements" and as long as you have an ammo can to store the bags it's
perfectly fine for more than 3-4 day trips. you can't re-open the bags(well
you could but it might be nasty)

      Griz,
You definitely want to pack it/ seal it up before heading back on the river.

    Q:

Does this fit inside a standard rocket box used for rafting? I'm thinking it doesn't if the longest dimension is 19", which is the same as for the rocket box. Most rivers require it to be inside a waterproof container. Also, are most bags used with it single-use bags? Or are there larger bags that seal and reopen to be used each night on a river? Just not sure how it works...

The toilet itself does not need to be sealed up, though we do transport it
on our drybox. However we take a separate amo can to hold the bags of
waste. I have found that the bags are good for 6-8 “uses” . I toss them
once full and if only partially full also toss them because its too messy.
I do like the system as its great for small groups, lightweight and there
      is little or no smell.

Hannah, it's too large to fit in the standard rocket box. I've put it in a dry bag when I've used it. The bags will easily hold 3-4 uses. You could seal and reuse, but most people don't do that. I have when on a solo trip and it worked okay.

Have built a more permanent base for the unit to be set up full time in a camper. No water means useable during winter hunting trips. Bagging the waste and disposing beats dumping a water based portable potty.
