The Vertex Pro Backband brings game-changing advances in on-water safety for the packraft community with a simple, efficient design. Developed through testing on our backyard runs, the fully adjustable backband secures a throw bag out of the way when paddling and converts to a waist belt for on–person throw bag access when on shore.

Product Details

Three-point attachment system is fully adjustable to customize backband tension and position.
Custom one-piece molded 3D EVA construction reduces weight, increases ventilation & drying while providing ample back support.
Integrated storage on the back side of the Vertex Pro Backband is designed to securely hold the NRS Backband Throw Rope—sold separately.
1.5" webbing with quick-release buckle converts backband to a waistbelt for on-person throwbag access when scouting, portaging or setting safety.
The flared opening helps deploy and load rope easily; a heavy-duty plastic snap secures bag when closed.
Custom aluminum hardware attachments provide a more efficient transfer of energy that translates to safer, more efficient paddling.
Vertex Pro Backband and backband strap are interchangeable with all NRS Vertex Outfitting. Packrafts can be retrofitted with Vertex Outfitting using our Vertex Hardware Patches.
