Nylon Military Valve with Boot
Item: 38515.01 | Product Details »
The military valve used on inflatable rafts and other watercraft is a very durable and dependable unit that's been used for years. It's especially found on older boats. Replacing the valve itself is pretty simple; just six screws hold the valve in place. However, generally the valve is installed in a recessed boot. Replacing a boot is a pretty major repair job. In this video NRS Repairs goes over all the steps for repairing and replacing military valves, including replacing a boot.

Q:will this work on my pvc zodiac whitewater raft?Asked on 8/20/2013 by jason
A:If you're going to replace the valve you should consider using a Liefield valve rather than the military valve. Fewer moving parts means less things to go wrong. I replaced all of the military valves on my old raft with Leafield valves a few years back and I haven't regretted it once.Answered on 8/20/2013 by Anonymous
