Comments about NRS Coil SUP Leash:

The leash is a good length for paddleboarding and surfing. It stays out of the way when paddling to catch a wave since most of the length is coiled. I'd recommend it.

Comments about NRS Coil SUP Leash:

It fits snugly and looks good too. Now my SUP is also a flotation device since it will never be out of my reach. I can take a little swim without worrying about my board drifting away.

        Q:

        Hi,

Is this leash typically worn up around the calf or lower down, near the ankle?

I am a 5'7" female, if that makes a difference.

        Thanks!

Arlene, it has enough adjustment to wear it either below the knee or down above the ankle. Personal choice.

Hi, ya I wear my leash around my ankle and it works great when I'm surfing
in the waves and when I'm on the lake I don't wear a leash :)

It can be worn either way. It is a matter of personal preference. When I
weqr mine around my calf it seems to keep the leash out from under foot,
but not a lot of difference either way.

Is this leash suitable for small waves for surfing?

          A:

Yes, you can, it is very strong. Since you say you're new at this, please be aware that you should only wear a leash that doesn't include a quick-release mechanism in open water surf with no obstacles that it could wrap around. Surf Safe!

I use it for paddle boarding. I would go for a longer lead not this coil type. You could get hit!!!!!

Sherry, there's a D-ring on the back end of the board for attachment of the leash.

Sandy, the price in the catalog is a typo error. We work hard to thoroughly proof copy before it goes out, but occasionally we flub one. I apologize for the confusion.
