Comments about Padz Dry Box Seat Pad:

Has lasted on my dry box on my raft 4 years or so. Not the softest place to sit, but far better than just on the box. Appearance held up well, and looked as good as new.....but....on the recent trip home in hot weather, and cruising down the interstate, it didn't make it all the way home with me. Must have blown off.

But...haven't found anything better yet, so ordering another soon.

    Foam shrinks

Comments about Padz Dry Box Seat Pad:

After one season, this went from 38"L x 13"W to about 36 x 10. But it didn't shrink evenly and the adhesive film shows the original size so it's ugly too. Would have been better to purchase foam and glue it down.

Comments about Padz Dry Box Seat Pad:

I would think that if you ordered a pad with a dry box, that they would match. This pad does not fit the Eddy Out (Too long and not wide enough) and with my limited geometrical skills, I can think of no way to cut it into pieces that will fir it.. Not that I would want some jigsaw puzzle looking pad, but I am trying to think of an alternative to finding some way to ship it back..

                Q:

Is there any advantage to these over ethafoam? Do these not soak up water as much as ethafoam?

                  A:

The Padz are very durable and I feel they last longer than ethafoam. They
also shed water well and do not show wear and tear like ethaphome does.

Do you not sell a pad to fit the 36x16 box?

                  A:

This is the only size of the Padz Dry Box Pad. You can trim it for length, or you can make a thicker one with Ethafoam, # 2078.
