Comments about NRS Bail Pail Water Container:

On river trips, use this bucket near the porta potty & in kitchen area for hand washing. After "last call" at the bathroom area, this bucket collapses so no one is waiting to put a hard sided bucket or pan in a dry box. It collapses for an easy & compact fit in ammo can or dry bag with hand soap, tissue & other bathroom supplies

Mine does good about 3/4s full. Used mostly to put out campfires hauling in water for basins. Never really used as stand alone.

If you put it on level ground, it will stay up. I have used it on a few trips. Not 100% sure if it will stay up if it is almost empty, however.

This one won't sag! I've used it in my camp kitchen to wash dishes and around the camp to wash clothes. This is a quality product.

Just filled mine up to see. It stands fine on the kitchen counter. Imagine you will want a fairly flat surface.

Greetings, I own one or two of these and have found them to stand up and function well. They do collapse a bit while scooping water from a lake/pool. I would like another myself.

Yes, the brim is stiff. You can fold it in half to flatten it, but it pops back open.

No. The volume of water is enough to keep it open. Works well.

Bob, I'm sorry but I don't have that information. Most folks don't use these for potable water so it's never been something that we've tested for.

Don't think so, seems like regular 'ol PVC.
                NRS should know?
Works great BPA or no BPA it's a winner.
