    Comments about Extrasport Pro-Creeker PFD:

I've had this pfd for almost a year now, I like it well enough, super comfortable, pocket's nice and large, but it's got a couple issues that take it down to the point I'd reccomend a different pfd. One of the plastic buckles manged to break, and I take care of that pfd like it's a baby. I was tightening it down, and an inside piece broke. As far as I can tell, the buckle still functions, but now it's harder to adjust so I usually have to get help to do that. On top of that, it's not the easiest to adjust, especially on the water, mostly because one of the straps is right under the rescue harness strap, and pretty far back. This is a problem because, at least for myself, if I don't adjust it perfectly it will ride up a little while boating, and the zipper will come partially undone if I'm not paying attention. As you can imagine this is a big problem if I swim and I've only got a half attached pfd. The last gripe isn't as big of a concern, but the qrhs takes quite a bit of force to undo. Not so much that it might stick if you're dragged underwater by it, but enough so that it was noticably harder to undo than other rescue pfd's. My friend says he was towing a boat and had to cut his cowtail when the other boat got pinned, but because of the angle he couldn't get the rescue belt to release.

      Comments about Extrasport Pro-Creeker PFD:

This PFD zips and is easy to get on, but it runs large. I have it as tight as it will go and had tons of extra webbing everywhere. I would say it's more comparable to a small/medium size. The knife lash tab snapped the first time I put a knife on it. It's a design flaw in placement since I hit it with my paddle. A rescue vest without a knife is pretty worthless.

The plastic knife holder breaks too easy and is very difficult to attach a knife to, otherwise..awsome.

Kitty, the front of this jacket is ~ 3" thick, as opposed to the GreenJacket's ~ 4".

I haven't found that it does, it's about 2-3 inches is all. Being a bigger
guy with a belly sure doesn't help, but this jacket is fantastic. I row and
paddle (boats and kayaks) and I haven't noticed any rubbing on my hands (I
don't wear gloves). I guess one time there was rubbing, but that was on a 7
day middle fork trip. With a passenger sitting a few feet behind me, so I
didn't get a full range of motion. Hope this helps.

No Dan, it doesn't. Our Rapid Rescuer Jacket, Item # 2149, has webbing loops for the NRS Leg Straps, # 2163, which are sold separately.
