      Sprayed on suede boot/ slippers.
They stayed dry in light rain, don't know yet whether they'll be waterproof in standing water.

Comments about Nikwax TX Direct Spray-On Waterproofing:

It is alcohol free so it ships quicker than 303. Bought this in a pinch before a trip and it works good I used two bottles to do a full drysuit and a dry top. I have used the top three or four days since application and it still beads up like day one. I would guess each application would last probably 20-30 trips in between reapplication

I'm not sure - I haven't used this on a tent, only on a paddling dry suit.

No, this is not the right product for your tent seams. Seam Grip, Item #22591, will do an excellent job on this project.

I had marginal success with this product... works OK for things like
jackets. But for something like a tent floor, which could be standing in a
puddle, you are better off with something else. Especially if you are
looking to seal the seams. The Nikwax will not work for this.
There are other products out there which are specifically designed to seal
the seams in a tent floor and they work much better than the Nikwax will.
Just do a google on "tent floor seam sealer". I've used the Tent Sure
sealant, which worked pretty well (I coated both the inside and outside of
the seams). Make sure you clean the tent floor really well before
          applying.
          Hope this helps...

does this require heat setting? if so how can you do that without damages latex gaskets?

No, it does not require heating. I've used it on my Marmot windbreaker, IR dry top and older Kokatat dry suit, which are each made of different material. After washing the garment with Tech Wash, it can be applied either while the piece is wet or dry. Spray on, wipe into the fabric, and hang to air dry. Especially for the paddling gear, it needs to be reapplied periodically (for me, that's at the beginning and middle of winter paddling season). It's not quite as good as the "factory" waterproofing, but it has definitely extended the useful life of a garment that I'm not ready to replace.
