  • ContourROAM HD Waterproof Case

I have had one of these housings for a couple of years now, and the magnet on the power switch is starting to rust, making it hard to operate. Do you carry replacement magnets or know where I can order one? Thanks.

We don't have those magnets and I don't know where to send you. Contour says they will be coming back into business, so if that happens that would be the best source. In the meantime, a web search for "contour camera repair parts" brings up some places to check.

Will I need this waterproof case for whitewater kayaking? Or the CountourROAM camera sufficiently waterproof?

Trev, the Roam is only waterproof to one meter depth. For safety sake the waterproof case is a good investment.
