                  Hi,

Can i order this with the bar cut at 39 1/2" with the lopro's and it would come to me predrilled ? Thanks

                    A:

Shawn, we can make any length bar you need. We measure Cross Bars from center of one side rail to the center of the other one. Each LoPro adds 2" to the length of the bar. Your best bet is to give us a call to order, 800.635.5202.

                  Q:

I'd like to widen my universal from 54" crossbars to 66". I only want the Unbendable, drilled for me to add my current lopros. Full bars are $80 each, how much for just the lopro drilled pipe (62" to make the end result 66", correct?).

I need 8 crossbars. My cat is configured with 1 front bar, 2 for front passenger bay, 2 for rower cooler seat bay, 1 behind my seat to add drop bags behind me, 2 for rear bay.

                  Thanks.

We can't guarantee that pipe drilled will fit the holes in your LoPros. Sharpness of the drill bit, pressure applied in the drilling process, etc can affect a slight angle in the holes. To discuss further please give us a call, 800.635.5202.

When you look at the sizes of any of our frames they are listed as W x L. W is the measurement of the cross bars, and other cross members. We calculate cross bar width as the center-to-center distance of the side rails they attach to.

I was given a partial frame package with a few cross bars and no LoPro's. The cross bars themselves are 56" long. I'd like to complete the frame so, along with a few more LoPro's, what length NRS Cross Bar with LoPro's do I need to order?

The measurement is from logo to logo on the lopro so you probably need 60".

I just bought one of the new cross bars with LoPros for an
older frame. I had measured just the crossbar (without the
LoPros) at 62", so I ordered the 66" crossbar with LoPros and
they fit like a glove. Looks like the LoPros add 4" to the
total length of the cross bar, so I would imagine in your case
the 60" crossbar + LoPro would work out fine.

                  Q:

I ordered an NRS frame through Andy and Bax in Portland for an Aire 143D raft. Instead of ordering a Bighorn II, they went with the 78" side bars and customized 63" cross bars. I picked up the frame pieces last weekend and after assembling, I decided I would like an extra cross bar to have more flexibility in how to rig my boat (e.g., cooler in front and dry box in the back instead of being stuck with both up front). Andy and Bax ordered three cross bars, and I'd like a 4th to have that flexibility.

Is it possible to order a customized 63" cross bar from NRS directly or do I need to go through Andy and Bax again? If possible, I'd like to order it directly and save a 6 hour drive from my house to Portland just to pick up a cross bar.

                  Thanks a million!

Yes just call NRS direct and they will custom cut your cross bar to
whatever length you want. It will be drilled with lo pro fittings
installed. And from what I have been told the cost is the same as a
standard length bar you can just order through their site.
