Comments about Padz Canoe Foot Support Pads:

Worked well in bow and stern positions in my 15' Old Town. Found them to be slippery when wet until used for a couple days, then they were fine. Can't imagine the week long trip without them. Certainly helped in turns.

Cleaned and Sanded surface before applying, great adhesion without glue.

    By George

    Verified Buyer

    Pros

    • Comfort on long paddles
    • Easy to Install
    • Look clean and neat

    Cons

    • Arch could be higher

    Best Uses

    • Support the ankle

Comments about Padz Canoe Foot Support Pads:

For adding comfort to my C-1s that have minicel saddles I use these. They are especially helpful on long kneeling runs like the 16 miles on the Dead River. I get fewer cramps and am able to quickly transition to portage.

    Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt. I like dealing with NRS. I have never had a problem.

      Q:

      Hello,
Just checking if these pads help to reduce the extension of the ankle or raise the ankle slightly? so paddling for long periods is more comfortable.

        A:

Kris, here's what Padz says about this product: "For paddling in the kneeling position, 12" long and 4" wide, minicell foam with tapered shape. Cushions and supports the top of the foot, from the ankle to the toe."
