I use them mostly for riverboarding and they work great. They grip the board well, and when i did find the rocks they were nice to have. They protect well. I tried them guiding rafts. They work, but are overkill for that. They work well for paddling too. They fit really well to my hand, and the kevlar plates fit nice. Good product

Comments about NRS Creek Gloves - Closeout:

i used em for work, just didn't do the trick. The first day of use the hard knuckle cover started to separate from the glove. The neoprene material is soft and not able to withstand to the the "rigors" of hull cleaning. I guess they have the right idea, they just need to make it tougher, stronger, reinforce the stitching, make palm pads more grippy, when they get wet they lose the grip effect. Also make tighter to hand to increase warmth.

          Comments about NRS Creek Gloves:

These gloves have great protection on all fingers, not just the 4 major knuckles. However, the fingertips wear out in no time. Index fingers and thumb broke thru in under 10 outings. Other fingers soon followed. Really low quality. I dipped them in AquaSeal as a solution, but save your money for BMX or Motocross gloves instead.

            Comments about NRS Creek Gloves:

On my second pair (and review). The first pair fell apart. I m frustrated that NRS hasn't fixed this product and I m frustrated with the inflated and misleading reviews.

The stitching came out of the palms on the second pair on the third day of paddling eliminating any thermal protection. I kept them for warmer weather. I maybe have 10 days on the gloves and I ve worth through several of the finger tips.

What good is personal protective equipment if it won't last a full weekend of use? I don't know how this product can be so bad. This isn't the first glove ever invented! NRS has great warranty and customer service but that doesn't eliminate the need for a good product.
