      Hi Dan,
Galvanized pipe will not fit the tube holder. It is made for regular round steel
tubing@1.000 inch in size. I powdercoat my tubes and some will still slide
through the the eyelet but sometimes some gentle filing is required. Good Luck.

I don't think so. I used 3/4 "rigid electrical conduit, which is galvanized.
I had to use a round file to open up the whole on the bracket a little bit- not enough to weaken it by any means. The electrical conduit is pretty strong.. I use the racks for lumber. Plus it's really cheap and easy to replace if it does bend.
There is also a rubber table leg cap that fits it pretty well. I think it's the 1 inch size. Home Depot carries them.

Yes, so order the bars as well unless you have a supply for Stainless
steel pipe wich is avialable in 1" outside diameter.

Unfortunatel I do not have the racks any longer.
They went with the car they we're on when I sold it.
I had used aluminum pipe and drilled the collars and put a bolt through
the pipe to be absolutely sure it would not come loose.
      Hope this helps

I had the same problem a few years ago when I changed to galv. pipes. What
I ended up doing was grabbing the largest diameter metal cutting drill bit
that I had on hand and using it as a reaming tool. Back and forth, in and
out....it takes a little time and muscle, but worked for me. In hind sight,
perhaps using a half-round metal file of the correct size may work as well.
      Good luck!

    Comments about Quick-N-Easy Tube Holder:

These would be a lot more useable if they were sized to accept 3/4 inch galvanized pipe, instead of 1 inch tube. Pipe is a lot cheaper than tubing and easier to find--and it's stronger than using electrical conduit.

Another .060 inch larger in the ID is all I'd ask for! That's a lot of material to remove with a round file.

      Comments about Quick-N-Easy Tube Holder:

any standard size pipe or tubing does not fit. You need actual 1" OD tubing this is only available in stainless steel on the open market and my be cheaper than shipping on the other bars but is hard to find.
